Havelok surprises Grim

Grim put the sack on the table. ‘Look!’ said Grim’s wife Leva, ‘the sack is glowing.’ 

Grim told Leva and his children to stand back and opened the sack. To their surprise, out popped a boy. 

‘What is your name?’ asked Grim.

‘I don’t know if I should tell you’ said Havelok.

‘Why did Lord Godard want me to throw you into the sea? said Grim, ‘Are you a thief?’ 

‘No, I’m not a thief’ said Havelok.’ I am a Prince.’
